New program leading up to Worlds in Manchester. I will stay in Sydney and train at Dunc Gray with Peter & Tom until end of October then fly to Manchester do the Pursuit and the Time Trial and then fly home after last race 8th November. Michael will do the same with Hilton in Victoria.

Met with Glen head of Elite Athlete Program at Macquarie Uni yesterday will do 2 units ie 8 hours over 2 days and have decided to drop 1 day of work which will leave 3 days for training relaxing whatever life is going to plan now to prove I will be ready for World Track in November and will break the record again and bring home World Jersey

NSW Cyclist of the Year

Helping out at the able bod Winter Track Championships (Metropolitan Champs) tomorrow at Dunc Gray Velodrome and then over to the Handle Bar Tavern for the Presentations of the NSW Cyclist of the Year. I'll drive Mum can have a couple of beers she deserves them. Seems to have been Worldwide lets pick on Jayme's Mum Week this week (even me sorry Mum) Lester is settling in nicely and really loves his crickets. The cats really love Lester = shut door shut door remember shut door.

Lester

I have my bearded dragon his name is Lester if Jordon had had his way his name would have been Neno but Mum steered him away and he now calls him Lester. Lester loves crickets and once the sun goes down he sleeps like a baby till I open my curtains in the morning, So the menagerie now consists of 1 dog 2 cats 3 birds 4 fish and a bearded dragon.

Well the Party is all set for the 20th December 2009. All the invitations are out and many RSVP's are already in The cake is ordered and we have decided on a Wishing Well as we won't need anything until we can afford a place of our own The menu is sorted so all is good.

Improvement

Well my knee is improving every session Merryn has increased my bike time to 30 mins 3 times per week and 1 of them can be out on the road instead of on the Cyclops so that has made me very happy things are looking up on the cycling front.

I was honoured last night to be awarded the first ever CPSARA Athlete of the Year Award. It was amazing because it wasn't just for my sporting achievements but mainly for the work I do promoting CP and encouraging other CP kids to take up a sport. How cool is tha?. Charity Ride Route

Have worked out the route for A Symbol of Hope Charity Ride total of 193 kms over 2 days The Old Pacific Highway is a cyclists dream not too much traffic lots of hills but that means excellent downhill cruising. Beautiful landscape fresh air prayer for good weather and lots of support for Northcott.
