Well my flights are booked will be leaving Sydney on 1st November for Manchester. 6th November Michael's Pursuit 7th nNovember My Pursuit and Michael's Time Trial 8th November My Time Trial then leave or home 9th November.

Shane Dad and I did it we rode from Blacktown to Newcastle and we raised $10,000.00 for Northcott Disability Services and had a great time doing it all our families get on so well I think this is just the start of a really close friendship. Three of the Nurses who looked after me 20 years ago were there to meet me and I had a tour along with Mum and Dad of the new NICU Nursery it was wonderful it brought back so many memories for Mum and Dad and they had a really big cry of course I don't rem...

A Symbol of Hope

Well the big day is almost here. Tomorrow is the Telegraph interview and then Friday we are off to Newcastle Shane Dad and I. We are leaving Blacktown Hospital at about 8am and will arrive at John Hunter Hospital the next day Saturday at about 3pm.

Back on Track

Today was my first session back on the Track since Nationals in February. It was a K1 session and Tom was really pleased. I suprised myself and think even Tom a little. I only had a tiny niggle in my knee towards the end but nothing I can't overcome. I can't wait for Track Worlds I'm pumped.

A Year Gone Already

Well it's been a year since Beijing the Medal has been worn by many proud Aussies and is showing it but that is what has been so exciting seeing peoples faces when I say put it on take a picture with you wearing it Thank you all I don't think I will ever get tired of reliving the experience with Australia and I hope you will be watching me London 2012 when I might just bring home the Gold I can tell you it won't be from lack of trying.  Love Jayme <3

Less is More

I am down to 1 Physio session per week which means I am almost 100% Have my new orthotics which make a heap of difference and Merryn says that I soon should be able to replace at least 1 road ride for a track session Looking good for Track Worlds in November thank goodness

Northcott Doodle Art Auction last night raised $10,700 for Spina Bifida research I managed to secure my second Julie Higgins Doodle this time coloured and met an amazing 14yr old SB sufferer and her Mum we (her and her Mum and me and my Mum) have so much in common Well done to Carol and the gang you rock.
