Busy

Well it's been ages since I have updated my blog but it has been busy busy busy. SInce last I blogged I have done quite a few PEP Talks in Sydney and in Albury and quite a few PSC talks I have celebrated with other Paralymians the 10 year Anniversary of the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games and the 50th Anniversary of the 1st Paralympic Games. I have been give a $10000 scholarship from Workcover/APC been to AIS for a Paracycling off Bike Training Camp as well as training twice a day 6 days per week. Next week I am a celebrity guest at the Variety Club Xmas Party for Disadvantaged Children and then off to Taree for more PEP School Talks then a celebrity guest at the Sydney Childrens Xmas Party for Disabled Children and before you know it it will be Xmas and I will be flying to Wales to spend 3 weeks with Ashley.

Italy

Yes Italy The 2010/2011 Paracycling World Track Championships are being held in Montichiari Lombardy Italy The Velodrome is only a couple of years old and from the outside it looks like an aero helmet. Then if I make the 2011 Road Team it will be Sunshine Coast Sydney Spain Canada and Denmark., I have to fit the "legal marriage" in luckily we chose July 16th so I should be here otherwise Ashley will be marrying a photo LOL.  Mum has just got back from the UCI Road World Championships in Melbo...

Well I'm home, have been for a while but of course flat out. Canada went well I Ranked No.1 in both the Time Trial and Road Race and earnt maximum points for Australia towards London 2012. Since I've been back I have done 4 PSC Visits with Craig Stevens and I'm due to do a PEP and a Talent Search this week and I will be speaking at the Kites for Kids Day on October 7th. I have been to the Northcott Doodle Art and have started training again. Hi everyone sorry it's been a while between blogs but I've been very busy as well as training 6days per week I've done a couple of PSC Visits and I took part in the Toyota Tree Day Planting at Blacktown South PS it was a fantastic day. Looking Up

Well everything is looking up House is SOLD We've found an new temporary home for 9 months at Plumpton and Kiel's operation went well today and he is home again safe and sound. Two weeks till Canada. Keep smiling on us please

It's All Happening

Well it's all happening only 3 weeks till we leave for Canada and the World Champs. We've sold the house and are looking for an in between rental until Kiel and Helena's new house is built and we move into their Townhouse. We've sold the furniture except for our beds and we've started packing. I've been training really hard had and got over the flu. Kiel has broken his collar bone while skiing yesterday and needs an operation. All this for Mum and Dad to handle while I'm overseas so I better ...

Tom's Back

Thank goodness my coach Tom is back in Australia Met with him today and have my training schedule planned for the upcoming UCI Paracyling Road World Championships. 5 Weeks of solid training and at the end of it all hopefully a World Champion Jersey in Baie Comeau Quebec Canada

Charity Ride

We have started planning for this years Northcott Charity Ride It will be called "A Symbol of Hope Takes to the Track" I am planning a 12 hour relay ride with hopefully 20 teams of 4-6 riders entering to win some fabulous prizes and to help raise funds for Northcotts Program for Disability Activities. I have had word of mouth acceptances from Shane Hadley, Mike Whitney and some of Mikes colleagues so hopefully it will happen Keep an eye on my site for more details.

Ashley & I

Ashley & I have started the paperwork for his Immigration to Australia. He hopes to be out here by 27th April 2011 and we will have our Civil Marriage in December 2011 to fulfil the Visa Requirements we plan to have our Wedding after I compete in London in 2012 I have my Wedding Dress on order, we have chosen the Bridesmaid Dresses, found a Venue and have quite few of the other bits and pieces in our head.
